Netskope Partners with Box to Help Migrate Customers to the Cloud

I am excited to share that today we announced our participation in the new Box Trust Ecosystem Program.  Today’s announcement is about providing Box customers with solutions to ensure the best security, visibility and accessibility for critical business content.  A key part of the announcement is the certification of our Netskope for Box solution, which helps customers get better visibility and control over data in Box.  The Netskope team has worked very hard to deliver a ton of innovative features wrapped in a Netskope for Box solution that tightly integrates with Box.  Here is a run-down of some of the key features.

Industry-leading Cloud DLP means sensitive data stays where it should
Easily discover and get control over sensitive data in Box. Need to identify and secure files containing PII, PCI, PHI, or confidential data? No problem. How about protect content as it’s being uploaded to Box? Do it in context – based on user, device, location, activity, content type, and/or DLP profile.

Introspection: Inventory content, encrypt, and quarantine
Secure content in Box whether it was uploaded or created yesterday or two years ago. In just a few steps, you can inventory content and users, see sharing status (private, shared, or public), restrict access, download files, secure content with strong encryption and quarantine files before they get into the wrong hands, as well as notify content owners.

Coach users to use Box
No one likes to be left in the dark about IT policy. With Netskope for Box, you can step right in and coach users. Are they attempting to use or upload to a risky cloud app instead of Box? Have a warning screen presented and automatically redirect them to sign up for Box.

Protect the Ecosystem
You’re not just investing in Box, but its ecosystem. With Box as your anchor tenant, you’re building valuable integrations with apps that enable critical workflows and make your users more productive. Yet many of those apps are not as enterprise-ready as Box is. Why not monitor and enforce security policies in those apps to ensure consistent security across all of the apps that deal with your business data?
